Twas on a cold March day in 1997 when Heroes and Villains first hit the ‘net. I ripped off some code from a magazine cd, and uploaded about 12 pages to my Virgin.net freespace account. It joined the “VillaWeb” (what ever happened to that?) as one of the 2 significant Villa sites in Cyberspace.

And now 11 years later, we’re still going strong, the longest running Villa site in the world, thanks to you guys.

It’s been a while since we had pioneered a “blog” frontpage, (remember the Manila site?” and thought it about time that we did it again, so welcome to the new “Fanzine” style front-end of Heroes & Villains.
